How to trust….

Trust. People throw that word around like cab fare. “You have to trust yourself”, “Without trust there is no love”, and my favorite “Just trust me”.
Easier said than done. I swear I know that I need to let go and let life happen. But what do you do when you get to that place that you’re so shell-shocked you don’t even realize that you’re wearing body armor 24/7? Or better yet you do the crab walk. You say you’re going to open up to new things, but then as soon as something happens that you don’t like you run back into your shell.
Can someone teach me to do this “Trust” thing? I would so take an online course or even night school if I could learn how to. It’s like hang-gliding. It’s looks so amazing, but dangerous!
I promised myself that I was going to do better, and be a better me so I have to try it. (Trusting not hang-gliding!) Pray for me 🙂

  1. Trust is a must. Thats what I say, because at the end of the day, you can always say you did it. When you can't give in to a situation because you/others have "trust" issues, it's virtually impossible to accomplish a lot of things. So again, at the end of the day, I say you do it. Get burned? Hey, the next topic can always be "revenge". Out.

  2. I agree trust is a must… if you give it, you'll know you deserve it in return. Not everyone is worthy of trust and they'll show you that soon enough. But once you meet those people who are… it's refreshing.
